Is migration a problem?
• Coil strength compared across stents in urine bath
• Cook Black Silicone had a strong coil strength.
• Previous study suggested that a coil strength in the range of 20 g (0.044 lb) or more is sufficient to minimize migration.
• According to this, none of stents tested would have migrated in the time tested.
