• What is a mini-PCNL?
– Most say less than 18Fr
– 16-20Fr versus 13-20Fr? Versus 22-26Fr?
• What is a conventional or standard PCNL?
– Generally 24-34 Fr is accepted as conventional PCNL
– Most studies compare mini-PCNL against a 28F or 30Fr access
– 24Fr access has lower bleeding complications and is not considered a mini-PCNL
